Carrie Fisher recebe indicação póstuma no Emmy Awards

Seis meses depois de sua morte, Carrie Fisher concorre pela terceira vez a um prêmio no Emmy 2017. Os indicados foram anunciados na manhã desta quinta-feira (13) em Los Angeles.

A Academia de Televisão lembrou de Carrie na categoria de "melhor atriz convidada em série cômica". Ela fez uma participação na terceira temporada de "Catastrophe", da Amazon, interpretando Mia, a problemática mãe de Rob (vivido por Rob Delaney).

A atriz terminou de filmar suas cenas para a série pouco antes de morre, em dezembro, e acabou ganhando um episódio especial em tributo. Intérprete da princesa Leia de "Star Wars", Fisher tinha 60 anos quando sofreu um ataque cardíaco durante um voo, morrendo morreu alguns dias depois no hospital.

No Emmy Awards, Carrie Fisher disputará o prêmio com Wanda Sykes ("Blackish"), Becky Ann Baker ("Girls"), Angela Bassett ("Master of None") e Melissa McCarthy e Kristen Wiig ("Saturday Night Live"). Com apresentação de Stephen Colbert, a cerimônia de premiação será realizada no dia 17 de setembro, no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles.

As indicações póstumas ocorreram muitas vezes na história do Emmy e são vistas como homenagem, mas apenas seis atores que já haviam morrido conquistaram o prêmio: Ingrid Bergman, Audrey Hepburn, Raul Julia, Diana Hyland, Marion Lorne e Alice Pearce.
